Sunlight and Animals of the Night

I used to imagine my house and garden was a submarine. Whenever the rain was so heavy that it flooded the world, the windows and doors would be sealed shut at the touch of a button. The interior would therefore remained dry while the whole house and garden were submerged in water. The propellers below would steer it to wherever we wanted to go. In this way, we could travel all over the world without ever leaving the house. As we surfaced in another part of the world, there would be sea creatures trapped in the garden for our consumption. That?s why you can sometimes find seashells on flowerpots in the garden.
